Net Applicationsから2020年8月のモバイルOSのシェアが発表された。2020年8月はAndroidがシェアを増やし、iOSがシェアを減らした。しかし、AndroidとiOSのシェアの合算値は2020年7月が99.77%、2020年8月が99.78%であり、ほとんど変わっていない。

モバイル向けのオペレーティングシステムのシェアとしては、AndroidとiOSがほとんどすべてを占めており、その割合が月ごとに若干変動するといった状態が続いている。
